Slavneft-YANOS (Yaroslavnefteorgsintez, Slavneft/Gazprom Neft/Rosneft JV), located in Yaroslavl on the Volga, is Russia 5th-largest refinery at ~15 Mt/yr. It specialises in deep oil refining and produces motor gasoline, diesel, aviation kerosene, jet fuel, and fuel oil. The plant is located approximately 800 km from the Ukrainian border — the longest-range major refinery target of the campaign.
